Day and Night

Although I am not a huge fan of sleet and snow, winter has its own particular beauty. As I was watching the birds in my front yard, I realized that although it was still a bit chilly from the recent winter storm, I could actually see the sun setting through the trees. The awe of the moment: beautiful blue sky, fluffy clouds and the glow of sunlight filling the air.



About that moment is when "my" little woodpecker flew off to the woods and much to my surprise, there was the moon! How cool is that? The sun breaking through the clouds on the west and the moon rising through the trees on the east. What an amazing moment and what an even more Amazing Creator! I am so glad I happened to be at the right spot at that very moment!
