Once again..we were able to visit Cumberland Falls on the night of the moonbow. I had forgotten though it is summer and the sun goes down later so the moon rises later. We "marked our spot", read, took some daylight photos, enjoyed a curious raccoon, and met some interesting people. Then, about 9:30 p.m., although the moon hadn't risen, we could already see a small bow. However, we were already drowned - I can't remember there ever being so much mist...It was nearly as bad as the Niagara! We looked like we had been out in a thunderstorm.
But the moonbow certainly put on a show and was worth it all. There were even colors in the moonbow which is highly unusual. So it was a very cool visit!! If you've not seen the moonbow, you really should!
Until next time...blessings to you! "C"
